Three judo exponents from the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) shared their expertise with members of the Brunei Darussalam National Judo Federation in a three-hour joint practice session at the Sports School yesterday.
One of the exponents, Chief Petty Officer Kodama Shingo, said he believed the local practitioners possess a very high passion for judo.
He encouraged them to practice diligently, noting, “The more you practice, the stronger you become.”
The exponents are part of a visiting JMSDF training squadron which arrived on Thursday and are departing tomorrow. – James Kon
