Radio Television Brunei (RTB) through its Radio Programme Unit carried out the Jalinan Kasih project for the 16th time.
A Doa Selamat and presentation of certificate was held at the VIP room at RTB Broadcasting complex in Sungai Akar.
RTB Acting Director Cheong Chee Keong was present.
A total of 13 companies contributed to the project. The project is part of RTB’s social responsibility to create a caring community toward the underprivileged and those in need.
Similar with previous years, the recipients comprised senior citizens, orphans, the underprivileged and widows.
RTB distributed donations to 20 families, five families in each district.
The initiative aligns with RTB’s slogan, Sentiasa Bersama Biskita, emphasising community engagement beyond radio and television. – James Kon
