J-Hope unveils ‘Hope on the Street’ docuseries

(ANN/KOREA HERALD) – J-Hope unveiled the main trailer for his upcoming documentary series, “Hope on the Street,” on Thursday.

The six-episode series follows J-Hope as he travels to Osaka, Paris, New York, and his hometown of Gwangju in Korea to engage and dance with street dancers.

Reflecting on his journey, J-Hope shares, “It all started with dancing. I am curious to revisit the dance genres I used to work with and reflect on my roots. I seek answers to my future dreams.”

Throughout the series, J-Hope immerses himself in various street dance genres, including popping, house, hip-hop, and locking, to connect with dancers and glean insights from their experiences.

Filmed before his mandatory military service in April last year, “Hope on the Street” offers an intimate glimpse into J-Hope’s artistic journey.

The first episode of the documentary is slated for release on March 28 on the local streaming platform Tving, with availability on Prime Video for international audiences.

In addition to the documentary series, J-Hope will release a special album titled “Hope on the Street Vol. 1” on March 29.
