It’s rewarding to contribute to a meaningful cause, said Siti Raihani binti Mail during a blood donation campaign at the Blood Donation Centre of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital yesterday.
Siti Raihani, a 38-year-old staff member of Ya Nur Restaurant and Catering, shared that this was her second time donating blood in the campaign.
Meanwhile, 22-year-old Muna Munirah binti Yahya said that it was her first time donating through the company’s blood donation drive, although she had donated twice individually before.
“It feels even more fulfilling doing it alongside my colleagues,” she added.
Human resource officer at Ya Nur Restaurant and Catering Fitrin Fathzullah said he was a first-time donor.
“I was nervous initially, but knowing that my donation could help save lives motivated me to volunteer,” he said.
The event, organised by Ya Nur Restaurant and Catering for the third time, collected 15 pints of blood. – Rokiah Mahmud
