Some 505 of Taman Asuhan Kanak-Kanak Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (TASKA YSHHB) celebrated Israk Mikraj with a religious ceremony themed ‘Sembahyang Tiang Agama’ at the school premises yesterday.
Among the activities held were short stories on Israk Mikraj of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and demonstration of the correct prayer movements.
The ceremony aimed to introduce children to one of the significant events in the Islamic calendar and instil a sense of love for Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as the best role model for the ummah. – Adib Noor
