A lecture on ‘Iman dan Taqwa Asas Kebahagiaan Hidup Bekeluarga’ was held at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah in Kampong Kiarong yesterday.
The lecture, aimed at supporting the Family Action Plan 2023-2027, was organised by the Family, Women and Children Institution Working Committee through the Muslimah Affairs Division of Mosque Affairs Department, in collaboration with Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah mosque takmir committee members.
Spouse of the Minister of Religious Affairs Datin Hajah Nahriah binti Haji Awang Asbi was the guest of honour.
Prisons Department’s assistant counsellor Fariszal bin Ali delivered the lecture and shared the importance of building a family based on Islamic teachings to ensure a life filled with peace, love and blessings. The lecture served as medium to offer guidance for parents in practising supplications and remembrance of Allah the Almighty through doa and zikir.
It also emphasised on the importance of referring to Al-Quran and As-Sunnah to guide families towards the path blessed by Allah the Almighty. – James Kon
