A group of International School Brunei (ISB) students from Years 12 and 13 conquered Mount Kinabalu during a recent school trip.
The trip, from May 18-21, involved 13 students from the school’s International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
ISB Head Boy Muhammad Bazil Alhaq bin Haji Mohd Albadii Shahnoel said the journey to the summit was an enriching experience that he will cherish forever.
Tegwyn Reekie-Evans said it felt like “we were in a different world”.
The hike was under the guidance of ISB staff mountain guides.
ISB Head of Arts Faculty Amy Gilroy and Physical Education teacher and Eco Coordinator David Mark Evans praised the students for their efforts.
