It is essential to invest in digital connectivity to ensure everyone has access to all of its benefits so that everyone has access to it as we move into the increasing digital world, said Brunei Innovation Lab (BIL) General Manager Freddie Ting.
He also shared the many advantages and current development of digital connectivity with existing infrastructure in the Sultanate such as the use of augmented reality and virtual reality which are able to train or up scale the existing workforce.
He said this during a keynote speech on ‘Empowering a digital nation with today’s infrastructure’ as part of the UNN Innovation Symposium at the Radisson Hotel yesterday.
It was also shared that Brunei is already moving forward with digital technology and connectivity giving the fast development and utilisation of the Bruhealth app as a prime example.
“The BruHealth app is constantly developing and will be a solution for anyone to access medical services virtually,” he said.
