The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) held a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony at the Ash-Shaliheen Mosque yesterday, in conjunction with International Volunteer Day 2022.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Selawat Tafrijiyyah followed by a talk ‘Perpaduan Melalui Kerja-Kerja Sukarela’. The ceremony ended with Doa Kesyukuran and mass Asar prayers.
Permanent Secretary (Youth) at the MCYS Haji Zakaria bin Haji Serudin attended the ceremony with heads of departments under the ministry, mosque youth groups, and youth volunteers.
This year’s International Volunteer Day theme is, ‘Solidarity Through Volunteering’. The Day of Action Campaign celebrating the occasion will be launched on December 11.
