The Brunei Darussalam Boules Sports Association is organising the International Doubles Open Invitational Petanque Championship at the Petanque Field of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex.
The championship attracted sport enthusiasts from ASEAN countries, with the overall participation of 218 teams, locally and overseas. The competition saw the participation of leading athletes from Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia as well as the country’s finest.
Permanent Secretary (Sports) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud was the guest of honour. The two-day event concludes today. – Fadhil Yunus
