International participants complete 12-week course

Collaboration is essential for success as it brings together expertise, resources and perspectives to foster knowledge sharing, leading to innovation and development of new solutions as well as building trust and understanding, said Institute of Brunei Technical Education Chief Executive Officer and Technical Education Director Dr Haji Mohd Zamri bin Haji Sabli.

An example of such collaboration is the ASEAN-Republic of Korea (ROK) Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Mobility Programme which concluded yesterday with a closing ceremony.

Dr Haji Mohd Zamri said the ASEAN-ROK TVET Mobility Programme enabled countries to work together to advance the common objective of TVET sector development and the Sultanate looks forward to hosting the programme again.

“Together, we can build a strong foundation for a brighter future and create positive change that benefits not only Brunei but also ASEAN member states and South Korea as a whole,” he added.

Dr Haji Mohd Zamri congratulated the 25 participants from six ASEAN member states who completed the 12-week programme with on-the-job training.

Dr Haji Zamri presented certificates at the closing ceremony that saw attendance by members of the diplomatic corps.

The programme, a project implemented by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry and fully funded by the ASEAN-ROK Cooperation Fund, was facilitated by Micronet International College. – Lyna Mohamad
