Universiti Malaysia Sabah officials visited Kolej International Graduate Studies (KIGS) recently. The visit was to mark the long -standing collaboration between the two institutions in conducting certificate level programmes. The visit also saw a discussion between the officials on potential programmes to be introduced to strengthen and diversify KIGS’s current programme offers.
The ways on meeting today’s education demands to help students have a better choice for their educational needs and relevant to the industry demands were also discussed.
The students’ immersion in the wider community through a series of education cultural visits were also seen as a strategy for learners to have a unique holistic learning experience which can be incorporated in the development of a comprehensive cross culture syllabus and module. – Lyna Mohamad
