Muslims are urged to multiply their pious acts in the Islamic month of Rejab which according to scholars, obedience to Allah the Almighty will receive great rewards while disobedience will be great sins.
This was said by Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque in Kampong Manggis Madang Imam Muhammad Khaizuran Amali bin Haji Kamsani in a talk entitled ‘Respecting great Islamic months’ during Munajat night on Saturday. Kampong Beribi mosque Advisor Dato Paduka Haji Othman bin Haji Yaakub led the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah.
Mosque takmir committee members from Kampong Beribi Mosque and Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque, Rimba Secondary School teachers and students, and Al-Jiilul Faatih youth from Al-Huffaz Management were also present.
Congregants from 102 mosques, suraus and religious halls as well as workforce from the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) and their family participated from their residences.
The recitation of Surah Yaasiin was led by teacher from Rimba Secondary School Haji Muhammad Sani bin Haji Abdul Karim, followed by Doa Munajat by Senior Religious Education Officer at Islamic Syiar Development Division at the MoRA Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar.
