Institute welcomes Bangladesh delegation

The Civil Service Institute (IPA) at the Prime Minister’s Office’s (PMO) hosted a 27-member Bangladeshi delegation on Friday.

IPA Director Dr Hajah Noor Maya binti Haji Md Salleh welcomed the delegation from Dhaka’s Foreign Services Academy (FSA) that was in the Sultanate for the Brunei-Bangladesh Leadership Sharing Session from May 7-10.

Bangladeshi High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Nahida Rahman Shumona gave a briefing on her nation’s civil service, its history and vision of achieving Smart Bangladesh by 2041. She also thanked IPA for arranging the sharing session.

FSA Director General and delegation leader Shahnaz Gazi gave an introduction on the academy through a video presentation.

Acting Senior Special Duty Officer at the PMO’s Wawasan Brunei Office Mohammad Yusri bin Yahya gave a presentation on sustainable development goals.

Members of the 35th Executive Development Programme for Middle Management Officers also joined the event. – Lyna Mohamad
