To inspire and scout those with potential to be the next generation of athletes, ‘The Big Kem Project’ will be held at the Mumong Sports Complex on September 15 and 17.
Organised by JCAD in collaboration with the Youth and Sports Department, the camp aims to foster skill development, teamwork and a love for sports in participants residing in Belait District aged eight to 11 years.
The sports camp plans to provide participants with the opportunity to immerse themselves in sports activities such as athletics, tennis, badminton and swimming.
To help facilitate the camp, experienced and passionate coaching staff will provide instruction and help participants enhance their skills, boost confidence as well as build lasting friendships.
The coaches are from the Belait District Youth and Sports Department, Brunei Darussalam Tennis Association, Brunei National Badminton Association and KB Piranha Swimming Club.
The camp also plans to include 10 more sports: pencak silat, wushu, table tennis, taekwondo, karate and fencing. – Daniel Lim
