Some 1,126 students from the Institute of Brunei Technical Education joined a Leading Lights initiative recently.
Students asked over 363 questions, covering themes such as career guidance, motivation, financial literacy, mental wellbeing and parental influence.
Parental influence emerged as a key theme, highlighting the need for open communication to help students balance personal interests with parental and national expectations. The sessions aimed to help students understand career options, develop soft skills and tackle potential challenges.
