The Information Department continued its Informed Community Programme on Wednesday for residents of Kampong Batu Apoi, Temburong District.
The programme aims to inform and update the residents on the latest governmental efforts towards improving the standard of living and boosting the communites.
Residents were briefed on labour regulations and hiring foreign workers, unemployment and job opportunities by the Manpower Planning and Employment Council (MPEC), Entreprenuership by Darussalam Enterprise (DARe).
In the hope to encourage village residents towards entrepreneurial activites, the residents went on a visit to Hua Ho Agricultural Farm in Junjongan.
The residents also visited Information Department Lentera Makmur Gallery and RZ Prisma Enterprise at Brunei Agriculture Research Centre in Kampong Bunut.
