    Induction programme for new teachers begin

    The Ministry of Education, through the Department of Educators Management, on Wednesday officially launched the Induction Programme for New Teachers at the Auditorium Hall, Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. The five-day programme, running from January 15 to 21, was attended by 29 newly appointed teachers.

    The event was officiated by Deputy Permanent Secretary (Core Education) at the Ministry of Education Awang Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman.

    The ceremony commenced with a welcoming address by Director of the Department of Educators Management and Chairperson of the Induction Programme. This was followed by a keynote speech from the Guest of Honour, who formally inaugurated the programme.

    The morning session included activities and briefings conducted by representatives from the Prime Minister’s Office, various departments under the Ministry of Education, and the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College (KUPU SB).

    The induction programme aims to equip new teachers with the necessary guidance to adapt to their roles, fostering effective performance during their initial years of service.

    Also in attendance at the opening ceremony were Heads of Departments and senior officials from the Ministry of Education. – Fadley Faisal
