An Indonesian food festival is currently ongoing at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex in Bandar Seri Begawan.
The five-day festival, launched on Saturday, featured 18 food stalls offering various Indonesian cuisine such as nasi goreng, rendang, satay, soto and bakso.
Indonesian Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Professor Dr Achmad Ubaedillah said Indonesian food play an important role in the people-to-people relations.
“So, I hope this festival will draw the Indonesians and Bruneians closer to each other,” he said. – Lyna Mohamad
