Increase acts of worship in final days of Ramadhan

As Muslims enter the final ten days of Ramadhan, Imams across mosques during the Friday sermon called upon the Ummah to intensify acts of worship to seize the opportunity of Lailatul Qadar, a night better than a thousand months.

Imams emphasised that many narrations indicate Lailatul Qadar occurs in the last ten nights of Ramadan, most likely on an odd-numbered night.

Muslims were urged to utilise this golden opportunity by increasing recitation of the Al-Quran, performing additional supererogatory prayers, engaging in Zikir (remembrance of Allah the Almighty), and seeking forgiveness from Allah the Almighty.

Imams also shed light on Nuzul al-Quran, which commemorates the revelation of the Quran on the 17th of Ramadan, showcasing the power of Allah the Almighty.
