Around 400 kindergarten students of Taman Asuhan Kanak-Kanak Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (TASKA YSHHB) and their parents had a fun-filled family day celebration at the Collonade, Jerudong Park playground yesterday.
The celebrations themed, ‘Candy Wonderland’ featured four booths, lollipop, cupcake, ice cream and cotton candy, hosting a number of games and activities for the children and their families.
The theme aimed to raise awareness on a balanced diet for children, encouraging them to take their favourite foods in moderation and to avoid health problems such as obesity and diabetes.
The family day celebration also hoped to strengthen familial bonds and friendship among the students and families. – James Kon
