Brunei Methanol Company Sdn Bhd (BMC) organised a companywide team building event at Muara Beach themed ‘Squid Game’ on Thursday.
Based on the South Korean survival television series aired on Netflix where a series of children’s games was played, BMC modified it to cater Brunei’s traditional games, as well as keidoro and patintero, Japanese and Filipino games modified to a local version.
BMC Chief Executive Officer Kaneshige Kubushiro led the event, which was officiated with a welcome speech followed by a safety briefing.
Employees were divided into four groups – Red, Green, Blue and Yellow.
The team building was a way for BMC to foster relationships away from the office environment and encourage people to improve their communication and teamwork skills.
