Parents and guardians are responsible for keeping Allah the Almighty’s trust as best as possible, imams said in the Friday sermon on Friday.
Among the responsibilities they must shoulder are ensuring that children receive a good education (pertaining to the world and the hereafter), not taking lightly and being negligent in fulfilling their rights and responsibilities towards their children and to be always concerned about the children’s well-being, whether emotionally, mentally or physically.
Imams said this as the nation marked the Celebration of World Children’s Day on November 20 that carries the theme ‘A Better Future For Every Child’.
