St James’ School in Kuala Belait organised a Book Day celebration yesterday.
Principal Riman binti Sitai said the event aimed to instil a love of reading among the students.
The event also saw storytelling performances based on classic tales such as Pinocchio and Three Little Bears.
The performances hoped to encourage the students to build the courage to showcase their creativity on stage.
The day also saw students wear handmade costumes inspired by popular fairy tales.
