The Infocom Federation Brunei (IFB) elected its new 15-member executive council committee during its 12th annual general meeting (AGM) at the Mulia Hotel on March 31.
Sheikh Haji Abas bin Sheikh Mohamad delivered opening remarks and chairman’s report, followed by Vincent Chok presenting the annual report for year 2020 and Gary Liau with the financial report for financial year 2020.
Pengiran Sarimah binti Pengiran Haji Abdul Latiff was named as the new chairwoman, who joined 14 other elected members to form the executive council committee for a three-year term from 2021 to 2024.
Pengiran Sarimah succeeds Sheikh Haji Abas, who is stepping down after serving a two-term tenure as the chairman.
IFB Honorary Legal Advisor Ivan Leong also attended the meeting.
