The Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) will participate in the virtual Higher Education Virtual Expo 2023 (HEE 2023) from February 13 to 16.
The expo, conducted online, is to allow the institute to provide assistance and services to the public interested to enrol into IBTE’s school programmes.
The public can participate in a 30-minute session of IBTE Webinar, inclusive of a question and answer session via live chat with representatives from each IBTE campus.
Those interested can participate online on February 16.
The 11.10am to 11.40am session will be presented by IBTE Registrar Office on ‘How to apply through TVeCAS’, and the 2.30pm to 3pm session will be presented by IBTE TVET Academy.
In the recent years, IBTE had a significant increase in the number of memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing between the institution and local and foreign industries, as IBTE strives to enhance the quality of technical education by providing training in creating job-ready graduates.
Among the full-time programmes offered include the Industrial Skills Qualification (ISQ), National Technical Education Certificate (NTec) level, Higher National Technical Education Certificate (HNTec) level, IBTE Diploma (Level 5) and apprenticeship programmes.
The institute also offers full-time and part time programmes through TVET Academy to facilitate and provide training and mentoring, as well as to coordinate a professional development course for both teaching and non-teaching instructors.
This year, IBTE will offer up to 40 programmes, while TVET Academy will also participate in this year’s HEE.
