Students and teachers from the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) competed in an in-house bowling tournament at the Grand Seria Bowling Centre on Friday.
The tenpin bowling tournament, organised by IBTE Jefri Bolkiah Campus (JBC) saw teams of five across three categories play a series of friendly bowling games.
In the male students category, Team SBC Male from IBTE Sultan Bolkiah Campus (SBC) was placed first with a score of 1093, followed by AL HCOA Bois from IBTE Nakhoda Ragam Campus (NRC) with 997 and Mix Team from IBTE JBC with 980. In the female students category, Rolling BC2 from IBTE Business Campus was in first place with 881 followed by SBC Female from IBTE SBC with 867 and the team from IBTE NRC with 761.
In the mixed staff category, Ragam Strikers from IBTE NRC placed first, followed by SBC Team 1 and IBTE ATC.
Special awards were also handed out to the best players from each category, as well as to the highest scoring team by IBTE Chief Executive Officer Dr Haji Mohd Zamri bin Haji Sabli and IBTE Acting Deputy CEO (Academics) Norjemee bin Jenek. – Daniel Lim
