The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) yesterday received two separate donations amounting to BND9,500 donation for Turkiye and Syria Earthquake Humanitarian Fund. The ceremony took place at Citra Budaya Hall of the MCYS building.
According to the Community Development Department under MCYS, the Group of Wives of Cabinet Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, Deputy Permanent Secretaries and Affiliated Members donated BND3,500 handed over by Datin Fadzlin binti Hashim on behalf of the group.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Studies Department under the Ministry of Religious Affairs made a BND6,000 donation handed over by Acting Director of the Islamic Studies Department Hajah Mariana binti Haji Jamil. Acting Director of Community Development Department Fauziah binti Haji Mohd Salleh received the donations.
