A symposium on human resources highlighting current issues involving multigenerational employees was held by the Brunei Institute of Leadership and Islamic Finance (BILIF) on Wednesday.
The symposium saw a number of talks and the sharing of best practices among human resource professionals, while also serving as a networking platform.
BILIF Chief Executive Officer Hajah Sufinah binti Haji Sahat shared that the heart of human resource management is not just about processes and policies, but about people and culture.
She added that leaders should recognise the unique strengths and talents of each individual and foster an empowering environment that will allow organisations to thrive.
The symposium saw presentations entitled ‘GhatGPT for HR’ and ‘Consistency is the Key to Driving Employee and Business Outcomes – Employee Experience Trends 2023’ as well as panel discussions on various topics such as the workforce of the future.
