Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC), through its Ibadah Friendly Hospital (IFH) Committee collaborated with Kampong Jerudong ‘A’ and ‘B’ Village Consultative Councils (MPK) and Kampong Jerudong ‘A’ and ‘B’ village heads to organise a cemetery cleaning campaign at Jelutong Lampong and Polo, Bridex Muslim Cemeteries in Kampong Jerudong last week.
Over 100 volunteers participated in the cleaning campaign. Minister of Health and Chairman of the Executive Board of JPMC Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar led the team at Jelutong Lampong Muslim Cemetery while Director of The Brunei Cancer Centre at JPMC Dr Haji Muhd Syafiq bin Abdullah led the efforts at the Polo, Bridex Muslim Cemetery.
Kampong Jerudong ‘A’ Acting Village Head Mohammad Nazmi Fa’iz bin Haji Abu Bakar and Kampong Jerudong ‘B’ Acting Village Head Kamis bin Panjang were also present.
The annual event, organised by IFH, aimed to foster a culture of service, teamwork and community responsibility among JPMC employees.
