Honouring PMO retirees

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) held a certificate presentation ceremony for 138 retired officers and staff of 2020.

The event yesterday was held to show appreciation for the retirees.

Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, the guest of honour, presented certificates and tokens of appreciation to the recipients.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Ash-Shaliheen Mosque Affairs Officer Haji Md Izzat Izzuddin bin Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Emran.

This was followed by opening remarks from Permanent Secretary (Civil Service, Welfare, International and Media) at the PMO Mohamed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohamed Yunos as event chairman.

Mohamed Riza expressed hope that the retirees will continue to empower themselves with new skills, engage in beneficial activities and adopt life-long learning to support Brunei Vision 2035.

He also extended his appreciation to the retirees for their services and devotion as well as sacrifices to the public sector.
