To produce Bruneian youths who excel and possess noble characters in this challenging era of globalisation, they should receive holistic education encompassing both academic achievements and personal and moral development, stated Imams in the Friday sermon.

“Youth is the best time to build self-identity, adorn oneself with noble morals, and fortify with faith and piety,” the Imams emphasised.

Imams also encouraged youth participation in social and community activities, including volunteering, sports, and cultural programmes, which can help them become responsible and caring individuals.

The support of family and community institutions is crucial in this developmental journey. Imams highlighted that parental guidance and education play a vital role in forming a good personality. Additionally, community support provides a conducive environment for youth development. – AZLAN OTHMAN
