The royal wedding ceremony for His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s daughter Her Royal Highness Princess ‘Azemah Ni’matul Bolkiah and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda Bahar ibni His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah begins on Sunday with Majlis Istiadat Bersuruh Diraja.
All Brunei Darussalam citizens and residents are required to hoist the national flag from the opening of the Gendang Jaga-Jaga tomorrow until its closing on January 17.
The national flag will be hoisted at government buildings, business premises and private homes while the installation of arches will enliven the atmosphere of the royal wedding celebrations.
