His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam is scheduled to meet His Majesty King Charles III, King of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland; meeting with Sir Keir Starmer, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Great Britain and Northern Ireland; and to attend a get-together with citizens and residents of Brunei Darussalam who are in the United Kingdom (UK) and Eire which will be held in London.
The meeting between His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and His Majesty King Charles III reflects the long-standing and close cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and the UK as well as the strong bonds of friendship between members of the royal family and the people, especially as this year marks the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Brunei Darussalam and the UK.
While in London, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam will also hold a meeting with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Meanwhile, the get-together with the citizens and residents of Brunei Darussalam will provide an opportunity for those in the UK, comprising students, officials and those in London, to meet and greet with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam.
