His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam sent messages of condolences to His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of Kuwait; His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait; members of the royal family and the people of Kuwait following the passing of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah recently.
His Majesty also sent a message of congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, following His Highness’ appointment as the Amir of Kuwait.
His Majesty also consented to send congratulatory messages to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of Qatar; Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar; the government as well as the people of Qatar, on the occasion of the National Day of Qatar.
