His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented to send a congratulatory message to His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Sultan and Yang-Di-Pertuan of Johor Darul Ta’zim on the occasion of His Majesty’s proclamation as the 17th Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia.
His Majesty also expressed his satisfaction for the warm and close friendship between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia.
His Majesty is confident that under His Majesty Yang Di-Pertuan Agong’s leadership, the valuable ties between the two countries will be further enhanced.
In conclusion, His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam prayed that His Majesty Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia, Her Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong Raja Zarith Sofiah and members of the Malaysian royal family would always be in the best of health and under the protection of Allah the Almighty.
