His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam arrived in London, United Kingdom (UK) yesterday.
Accompanying His Majesty is His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.
Upon arrival at London Stansted Airport, His Majesty was welcomed by Deputy Lieutenant of Essex Glenn Mayes DL as personal representative of His Majesty King of the UK of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; and Special Representative of the Foreign Secretary Michael John Holloway OBE.
Also present to greet His Majesty was High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to the UK and Eire First Admiral (Rtd) Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad.
His Majesty is in London at the invitation of His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty Camilla the Queen Consort.
