His Majesty and members of the royal family perform sacrificial rites

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, along with other members of the royal family, sacrificed four sheeps at the compound of Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah mosque on Monday, June 17, after performing prayers.

Additional animals, contributed by His Majesty, Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam, and other members of the royal family, were slaughtered at PDS Abattoir Sdn Bhd in the agricultural site at Kampong Batang Mitus, Mukim Kiudang, Tutong, and at Syarikat Mohammed Norfaidzal bin Haji Zainuddin dan Anak-Anak at Lampaki livestock site in Jalan Mulaut Lampaki in Kg Mulaut.

This year, a total of 184 cattle and 14 sheep were slaughtered, with part of the sacrificial meat distributed to 14,944 recipients among the Poor and Destitute and their dependents across the country.
