A trailer caught fire on the Muara-Tutong Highway, near to the Lugu area yesterday, according to the Fire and Rescue Department (FRD). The FRD said eight firefighters from Jerudong Fire Station led by DSO Misli bin Haji Pungut responded to the fire and brought it under control within three minutes.
No one was harmed during the incident, said the FRD.
The trailer was carrying an empty container, and the cause of the fire and estimated losses are under investigation.
