Offering the ultimate one-stop experience for buying new furniture, including for the living room, dining, bedroom, home office and more, the Ashley Outlet, an 8,935-square-foot concept store, was launched in a grand opening ceremony in Kampong Sungai Tilong yesterday.
Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Mustafa bin Haji Murat officiated the ribbon-cutting with Jackhan Sdn Bhd Board of Directors members Md Akip bin Haji Abdullah, Jason Son, Son Khai Shenn and Nur Syahrina at Block ‘B’ Bangunan Ben Kassim and Hajah Zaliha, Simpang 440 Kampong Sungai Tilong, Jalan Muara.
The new store is owned and operated by Jackhan, who owns one additional Ashley Furniture Homestore and one Ashley Furniture Flagship store in the surrounding region.
The Kampong Sungai Tilong Ashley Outlet is the first international Ashley Outlet in the country.
Managing Director Geraldine How in her welcoming remarks said, “The new outlet focuses on serving a different segment of Brunei’s market. We wanted to differentiate between our Homestore and Outlet that will allow us to provide basic needs and furniture essential with a home-like environment, offering great value and low prices every day.”
The store’s space includes great deals on different categories. It features products by categories such as recliners, living, dining, bedroom and home office.
The concept focuses on customers’ convenience by providing comfortable and high-quality furniture at great value. Technology enhances the environment, incorporating various elements to improve the customer shopping experience from start to finish.
In conjunction with the grand opening, a series of special promotions are on offer including limited-time discounts and deals until June 10.
During the ceremony, the Centre for Children with Special Needs (KACA) and Brunei Darussalam National Association of the Blind received donations.
The guest of honour and guests were also given a tour of the new Ashley Outlet. – James Kon
