Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) recently received a visit from a delegation from the Bangladeshi High Commission in Brunei Darussalam.
The visit saw a reception for Bangladesh High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Nahida Rahman Shumona.
She was welcomed by UNISSA Rector Dr Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal and joined by Assistant Rector (Research, International and Services) Dr Arman bin Haji Asmad, Associate Professor Dr Siti Sara binti Haji Ahmad and Assistant Rector (Student Affairs and Alumni) Dr Hajah Lilly Suzana binti Haji Shamsu.
Also in attendance were Director (International and Public Relations) Dr Awang and Head of International Affairs Unit/Lecturer Dr Mohammad Hilmy Baihaqy bin Haji Awang Yussof.
The high commissioner was accompanied by Counsellor (Political) and Head of Chancery Tanmoy Majumder, First Secretary (Labour) Mohd Abu Bakkar Siddique and Executive Assistant Dayangku Siti Khadijah binti Pengiran Haji Tengah.
During the visit, the high commissioner extended her gratitude to Dr Haji Norarfan for the reception and expressed appreciation for accepting book contributions for the university’s library. – Lyna Mohamad
