Brunei Council on Social Welfare (MKM) President Yusof Halim, confirmed as president 2024/2025, during the council’s sixth annual general meeting, reviewed past activities and financial progress.
Since establishment, the group has engaged in community projects, particularly assisting underprivileged groups. It has supported 83 families by distributing basic food supplies monthly and provides educational assistance to students from these families at all levels, Yusof Halim said.
The event, held at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports building recently, also saw the election of the 2024-2026 administrative committee and the presentation of the treasurer’s and secretary-general’s reports. – Fadley Faisal
