The Ministry of Religious Affairs, through the Department of Haj Affairs, informed the public of the latest statement issued by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health regarding the health requirements for individuals travelling to Saudi Arabia for umrah and visits.
Among the points stated, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health requires all individuals travelling to Saudi Arabia for umrah or visits to the two holy mosques to receive the Meningococcal Meningitis vaccine and provide documentation showing proof of vaccination.
The Ministry of Health also recommended that all individuals travelling to Saudi Arabia for umrah and visits to the two holy mosques be vaccinated and have documents proving the vaccination for the latest SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), seasonal influenza, and other vaccinations that can prevent diseases such as measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), chickenpox, and others.
