The Implant Centre of the Maxillofacial, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Centre (MFPRSC) takes pride in providing implant services, offered by the Sultanate’s only two Harvard-qualified implant specialists, Dr Haji Muizzaddin bin Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti and Dr Haji Shamshir bin Haji Zainal Abidin.
A consultant in the Reconstructive Implant Unit, MFPRSC, Dr Haji Muizzaddin is a full time consultant and implantologist at the Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre (PJSC). His credential includes a Master of Public Health (MPH, Harvard) from Harvard School of Public Health, which he obtained in 2013.
He also holds a Master of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology from Harvard and a Specialist Certification in Implants from Harvard. Additionally, he holds a post-doctoral Diploma of Membership of the Royal College of Surgeon of Edinburgh.
Meanwhile, Dr Haji Shamshir is a visiting consultant in Implant Services fully-trained in Harvard, and a Master of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology from Harvard, and a Specialist Certification in Implant Practice from Harvard.
MFPRSC is located within the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital Campus, adjacent to the main X-Ray Department. Appointments can be made by contacting the specialists at 2241234 (ext 147) for Dr Haji Muizzaddin or Dr Haji Shamshir (ext 115).
