The Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration continues to be lively despite COVID-19 precautionary measures issued by the Ministry of Health.

“The country is still working hard to curb the spread of COVID-19 but it does not stop Muslims in the country from celebrating Aidilfitri with gratitude,” said Secretary of the mosque takmir committee of Kampong Sungai Besar Mosque Haji Zaini bin Haji Damit at the Khatam Al-Quran ceremony for the Subuh prayer congregation of the mosque yesterday.

Haji Zaini said the Khatam Al-Quran ceremony this time was special because it coincided with the festive atmosphere of Hari Raya which is the best opportunity to seek forgiveness.

The Khatam Al-Quran ceremony was attended by 16 participants including advisor of the mosque takmir committee Haji Mohiddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman.
