Institute of Brunei Technical Education Nakhoda Ragam Campus
The IBTE Nakhoda Ragam Campus organised a Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration at the campus’ Multipurpose Hall yesterday.
IBTE Central Acting Principal Hajah Rohani binti Haji Mohammad Salleh, as the Head of School of Information and Communication Technology, was the guest of honour.
Guests turned up wearing colourful traditional attire befitting the theme ‘Glam Lip Lap’.
Head of School Noorisman bin Menterais in his welcoming remarks said he hoped that the gathering would strengthen the bonds and unity among the campus community, fostering integration and cooperation towards achieving excellence.
The event was enlivened by live band performances from Music Club members featuring Hari Raya-themed songs.
A best dressed competition was also held for staff and students and a Hari Raya video compilation of greetings from the students was also played.
The event concluded with the presentation of prizes to the winners of the best dressed competition and a group photo session.
The Hari Raya celebration at IBTE Nakhoda Ragam Campus continued with visits and feasts in the hall and in each department within the campus. – Rokiah Mahmud

Brusin Trading Company Sdn Bhd held a Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration at Tarindak D’Seni in the capital yesterday.
Director of Brusin Trading Company Haji Mohd Sufian bin Haji Mohd Tahir welcomed guests.
Regional Development Manager, Bernard Kho as well as officers and staff of Brusin Trading Company were present.

DaMai Family
The family of Pengiran Haji Damit and Pengiran Maimunah (DaMai Family) celebrated Hari Raya Aidilfitri at Dubai Hall, The Airport Mall on April 27.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Al-Quran verses by Awangku Ilyas Darwisy bin Pengiran Amiruddin and interpretation by Muhd Rusyaidi bin Madani, followed with Doa Tahlil by Pengiran Md Salehin bin Pengiran Tejudin.
Committee members chose the theme ’Raya DaMai Bersama Indung-Indung Petuan’ to get to know relatives better.
Family representative Pengiran Haji Alit said the gathering was held since 2011 and halted in 2020 and 2021 following the COVID-19 pandemic.
The sense of togetherness encourages teamwork, respect, tolerance in executing family activities, he said.

Institute of Brunei Technical Education Sultan Bolkiah Campus
Students and instructors at the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) Sultan Bolkiah Campus celebrated Hari Raya Aidilfitri at the campus’ Multipurpose Hall on April 29.
Activities included a lucky draw and singing performances.
Prizes were also presented to the students and instructors who had the ‘best booth’ and ‘best dressed’ at the celebration. – Daniel Lim
