A total of 41 cyclists from the Oil Town Cyclist, Panaga Foldies BN, Trio Bn, Brunei Folding Bike Club and owners of Folding Bikes, held a relaxing Santai cycling across the Belait District themed ‘Berdudun di Aidilfitri’

Starting from the parking lot at the RPN Kampong Pandan Mosque, the group cycled to the Menara Cendera Kenangan for a brief rest via Jalan Maulana before continuing their journey to the residence of Oil Town Cyclist member Haji Abu Bakar bin Haji Abdullah at Kampong Pandan as the finish line.

The cyclists wore traditional Malay outfits throughout the excursion. Haji Abu Bakar noted that the event served to establish closer relations between cyclists from across the Sultanate while celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri festivities.

He said, “Today, we were able to ride across the Belait District, reminiscing the past before the widespread use of cars. We visited our friends and families on bicycles, which we wished to capture in the present time.”

He added that the group conducted a similar activity earlier last week.

They travelled across the Brunei-Muara District and visited landmarks.
