Brunei Darussalam will observe Hari Raya Aidiladha on Thursday, June 29, 2023 corresponding to the 10th of Zulhijjah 1444 Hijrah after the new moon to decide the first day of Zulhijjah was not sighted on Sunday.
Syar’ie judges and officers from Syariah Court at the State Judiciary Department along with officers from the Survey Department at the Ministry of Development were stationed to sight the new moon of Zulhijjah at DST Tower, Tanjung Batu Recreational Park and Bukit Agok in the Brunei-Muara District, Bukit Ambog in the Tutong District and Bukit Lumut in the Belait District.
