The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) will hold the International Product Expo and Halalan Thayyiban Services from tomorrow until June 7 at the Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah in Jalan Pengiran Babu Raja.
The International Product Expo and Halalan Thayyiban Services will be free to the public and runs from 8am to 9pm at the foyer and special exhibition hall.
The public can enhance their understanding of contemporary halal issues, learn about the role of government agencies and authorities in halal certification, and interact with halal certification bodies from other countries.
The expo will also feature product retailers who have halal certificates and permits, as well as foreign direct investment companies directly involved in the halal industry.
The International Product Expo and Halalan Thayyiban Services is jointly organised by the MoRA and Sultan Sharif Ali Universiti Islam (UNISSA) in conjunction with the Brunei Mid-Year Conference and Exhibition 2023 (Brunei MYCE 2023) organised by the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism annually.
The public, especially halal-related industry traders aiming to improve the quality of products and business, students and researchers in the halal field as well as those who are interested can visit the expo.
