A delegation from Darussalam Services Sdn Bhd (DSSB) left Brunei Darussalam to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to make final preparations to welcome the company’s haj pilgrims next month.
The advance team was led by Managing Director Haji Mahmud bin Haji Mohamed and TAIB Filling Station Beribi Branch Manager Haji Mohd Faisal bin Haji Apong.
Haji Mahmud said the team will be meeting various parties to ensure logistical requirements are met including accommodation, transportation and meal arrangements.
Some 746 pilgrims will be performing haj with the company this year. Sixteen DSSB officials will accompany the pilgrims while in Saudi Arabia.
The first flight will leave Brunei on June 4 followed by other flights on June 5, 6 and 7.
The pilgrims have been told to collect their souvenirs on May 31 at the parking area of the Indoor Stadium of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex on May 31.
